Mr. Hartsoe focuses his practice on the following areas of law in Northern Virginia: Construction Litigation and Construction Contract Review; Commercial Litigation and General Business Practice, including Uniform Commercial Code and Creation of Business Entities; Domestic Relations and Child Custody matters; Personal Injury and Tort law; and General Civil Litigation matters.

Mr. Hartsoe is a founding member of the firm, and has been practicing law the in state and federal courts of Virginia since 1987. Additionally, Mr. Hartsoe serves as a Special Education Hearing Officer, under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), pursuant to the standards set by the Supreme Court of Virginia and the Virginia Department of Education. Mr. Hartsoe is a lecturer for the Virginia Continuing Legal Education series on the subjects of construction law and domestic relations.
